Jack Bishansky and Beatrice Bishansky (née Parker) were a couple who made significant contributions to the Niagara Falls, Ontario community through their entrepreneurial efforts and involvement in local life. Together, they owned and operated Fashion Foremost, a successful ladies’ fashion store in Niagara Falls, Canada, for over 30 years. The store became a notable part of the local retail landscape, reflecting their dedication to business and fashion.

Beatrice Bishansky passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 95, after a remarkable life that included 70 years of marriage to Jack. Born Beatrice Parker, she was an active member of the Niagara Falls Jewish community, holding a lifetime membership in Hadassah Wizo and volunteering at Niagara Falls General Hospital. She was also an avid golfer, enjoying the sport with friends. Her family described her as an entrepreneur alongside Jack, highlighting their partnership in building Fashion Foremost into a thriving business.

Jack and Beatrice raised a family that included their children Howard (married to Penny Goodman) and Sandy (married to Sheldon Frankel), as well as grandchildren Samara (married to Uri Barak), Michael (married to Leanne Belitzky), Jessica Frankel, and Ethan Frankel, and great-grandchildren Miles, Blake, and Harrison. Beatrice was also survived by her sisters Lilian Chasin and Sylvia Diament, while she outlived her siblings Earl Parker and Helen Kleiner.

Jack and Bea Bishansky not only ran Fashion Foremost but also left a lasting legacy through their family and community involvement. The store itself, Fashion Foremost, was a fixture in Niagara Falls for decades.
